Jump in, the water is great.
Have you heard that statement as you stood
shivering on the shore? You want to jump,
but a mixture of emotions ranging from
excitement to fear keep your feet firmly
anchored. Finally, with a rush of
adrenaline, you jump. The seconds between
dry ground and water seem like an eternity.
Daniel must have been experiencing something
similar as he stood at the edge of the lions
den. He knew he was doing the right thing,
but taking the plunge was nothing less than
a leap of faith. HOW God was going to
deliver him was yet to be seen. That's what
walking by faith is all about, going where
God leads, taking the plunge into the
unknown. Jump in, the water is great.
