What a way to go. Elijah made
a grand exit from this world. At some point
we will all leave this world, that's a fact.
Unfortunately we spend more time thinking
and worrying about HOW it will take place
rather than the fact that it WILL take
place. We fail to realize that our life in
this world is intended to prepare us for
life everlasting. Death shouldn't come as a
surprise; our bodies have to die before they
can be raised. But God has promised
something that is unheard of in this world.
He has offered us an unconditional, eternal
warranty that the bodies we will inherit
will never wear out, perish, spoil, or fade.
You can't beat that.
