Handwriting on the Wall

"Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his knees knocked together and his legs gave way." Daniel 5:5-6

Read the handwriting on the wall. There are times in our lives when we are ignorant to our own folly. Everyone around us might see our fault, but we're blind. It may be obvious, but it escapes us. We might be mistreating another person, spending too much idle time in front of the TV, or gossiping about a friend or neighbor. Our behavior might even have terrible consequences. Friends and loved ones might try to help us, but we choose to ignore them. Opening our lives to the will of God must be done on a daily basis. Our tendency is to build walls around our sins to hide them. But remember, God can see over and through our walls and will try to bring our sins into the light. So open up and read the handwriting on the wall.
