The Exodus in Perspective
Imagine moving the entire population of Nevada including Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, and Lake Tahoe. That is approximately the same number of people that left Egypt during the Exodus. Exodus 12:37 and Numbers 2:32 state the number at over 600,000 males, 20 years and older. Since this number is merely the older males and excludes the Levites, the total number of persons most likely exceeded two million. According to the U.S. Census Bureau the entire population of Nevada in 2001 was slightly over 2,100,000.

Satisfying the hunger and thirst our wandering Nevadans would be a logistical nightmare. Over 150 Semi-trucks of food and 10,000 tanker trucks of water would be needed each day to keep them satisfied.
