A peek is the same as a
stare. Just one little look won't hurt, was
probably the last thought of Lot's wife. We
rationalize that God knows the difference
between a peek and a stare, surely He won't
punish the peeker the same as a starer. We
also believe the same is true about sin,
some aren't as bad as others. But our
sliding scale of severity is not necessarily
God's. The end result of any of our sins is
the same, separation from God. Thankfully
God has provided a means for forgiveness,
but don't be misled, a peak is the same as a
stare.
